Chambered in either .223 Remington or .204 Ruger, the Model 25 Lightweight Varminter utilizes a
new compact, lightweight action designed specially for the .223 bolt head by Savage. The barrel is a 24-
inch medium-contour, fluted barrel with a jeweled bolt using a 60-degree bolt lift. The Varminter features a four-
round detachable box magazine, a third swivel stud for bipods and an AccuTrigger adjustable from 2½ to 3¼ pounds.
