Lessons
Learned
We learn by experience and my best teaching moments are
usually difficult and hair-pulling situations that didn’t always
end in my favor. That even holds true for coyote hunting.
Although I’ve learned volumes on coyote hunting by spending
time with coyote hunting veterans, my best educators have
been challenging coyotes that didn’t just roll over for the
bargain-bin rabbit-in-distress call. Coyotes that question
everything in their environment test all of your hunting skills
and ultimately make you a savvier hunter. Enjoy the easy
coyotes, but analyze the tough coyotes for success.
